Assumption's annual Santa Breakfast is a community event held every first weekend in December.
There are 3 seatings:
Saturday Breakfast at 10:00 AM
Saturday Dinner at 5:00 PM
Sunday Breakfast at 10:15 AM
Breakfast is served with doughnuts, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hashbrowns, and apple crisp.
Dinner is served with fried chicken / chicken nuggets (for kids), mashed potatoes with gravy, greenbeans, apple crisp, and a dinner rollAll meals also include a beverage and a famous Assumption School iced sugar cookie!
Breakfast is $6.00 for kids and adults
Dinner is $6.00 for the kids nugget meal and $7.00 for the fried chicken meal
Every paying child receives a personalized ornament and a visit with Santa in his workshop where parents can take pictures.
Ornaments can be personalized by one of Santa's helpers.There's wonderful entertainment during the meals with some of our local choirs: OLG Choir and McAuley/LaSalle Vocal Ensemble (varies)Various costumed characters roam around the decorated parish center greeting the children.
Each seating has a door prize raffle with an adult prize of a Poinsettia and a child prize of a $10.00 gift card to Target.
Mrs. Claus escorts the children (that want to go) up to the stage to sing a song with Santa
There's also a Bakery and a Boutique with items for sale. Cookies, cakes, brownies etc... in the bakery and Christmas items in our boutique for sale with most items $10.00 and under (mostly under)
