Guidelines for Submitting/Requesting Web Content
Our site at Assumption continues to grow, and we continue to receive more and more requests to post content. We have limited resources at this time to address these requests, but you can help us by using the guidelines detailed below. Thanks for helping us help you ... and if you see any web page programmers out there, please send them our way.
Posting an Announcement on a specific page or the "news" window.
Please compose your announcement exactly as you want it to read on the web site, and send it to Webmaster@AssumptionMtHealthy.org . Please submit your announcement at least 5 days prior to when you'd like to see it on the web, indicate where you would like us to post it (subject to Webmaster approval) and when you'd like us to remove it from the page or scrolling news window.
Posting Pictures on a specific page
Please send all requests to post pictures to Webmaster@AssumptionMtHealthy.org indicating what pictures you have, how many, and where you'd like to see them posted. The pictures should be in electronic form (ideally JPG, but we can accept other forms BMP, TIF, etc). We have limited capability to scan pictures at this time. The Webmaster does reserve the right to limit the number of pictures that will be posted. Please submit picture requests at least 10 days prior to when you would like to see them posted.
New Web Page
Sometimes
requests to post content end up being requests for a new page to be added to the
site. These types of requests can range from a simple information page, to a
major project effort. Again, submit these requests to
Webmaster@AssumptionMtHealthy.org. In these cases, please detail as
best as possible what it is you would like to do. We will discuss these requests
with you (typically via e-mail) to understand the scope of your request. Web
page creation will involve active involvement from the requestor or requestor's
group. Ideally, we'd like each group to try to identify someone in their
organization - or perhaps a high school student - to do some of the programming
(we typically use Front Page but can accept most HTML formats). We will attempt
to address requests for new web pages as best as we can, however, given our
limited resources, at this time we can not commit to developing any and all
requests.
Again, we thank you for helping us help you ... and helping our site to grow ...
