March 3, 2008

Dear Parents:

The constantly changing weather has us all wondering what season is really here, winter or spring.  The recent warmer temperatures are certainly teasing us into thinking that spring is coming.  Hopefully, we will not have to endure any more sub zero temperatures, snow, and ice.

It is difficult to believe that March is here and that two-thirds of the school year is over.  Much has been accomplished since school started in August but there is still a lot to do before the final bell rings in June.

As we continue our education efforts here in school, please continue to encourage your child(ren) to maintain maximum effort as we move toward spring and the end of the year.   Remind your child(ren) that it is important to finish this year on a high note which will provide them with a good start for the next school year.

Please take a few minutes to read this newsletter as it contains information about important dates/events which will be taking place in March.

Thank you for your continued help and cooperation.

Sincerely,

William J. Walborn
Principal

ACTIVE PARISHIONER POLICY
An active parishioner is a family that is registered in the parish, participates in parish life including parish ministries, functions and activities, attends Mass regularly, and regularly uses the envelope system to contribute”. In order to help implement this policy, parents are responsible to see to it that they are credited with any volunteering in which they have taken part. When you volunteer the organization for whom you are volunteering will have a “Volunteer Sheet” available. A copy of this sign-in form is attached so you will be familiar with what it looks like when you volunteer. Thank you for you help with this endeavor.
