They will remember me because I am going to be a fireman, and I will come back to Assumption to teach people about fire safety. I will tell them what to do if there is a fire, because I do not want them to get hurt and because I want to help people, and I will try my
best

I think Assumption School will remember me because I play baseball and I cheered at the pep rally. I was the shepherd in the Santa Breakfast play. Lastly, Assumption School will remember me because I was the first third grader to get chicken pox this year.

Assumption School will remember me because I'll do the jobs the other kids won't do. I pick up bugs and put them out the window when they get into the classroom. I also like to write wild stories.

I am glad that I go to a Catholic School and look forward to coming here. At Assumption, I can get a good education. Going to school here means that I can also be involved in the Mass at church by doing readings, taking up the gifts and carrying religious signs. Assumption also means that I can be involved in community activities, such as the Sharing tree, Canned Food Drives and Walk-a-thons. I am glad that I am an Assumption School Cougar.
At Assumption, I play on the volleyball, softball and basketball teams. I enjoy playing sports and try hard to do my best in each of them. I have many friends at school and like spending time with them. Even though math is sometimes difficult, it is one of my favorite subjects. I also enjoy science and its experiments. My all-time favorite subjects are probably recess, gym, art and lunch. After school, I like to ride my bike or scooter and practice volleyball, basketball and softball. I also like to play games.
My wish is that I would be remembered for being active in school and being friendly to everyone. I hope that my friends will remember me for being nice and helpful. I will remember my friends for the same reasons. I would also like to be remembered for being a good sport and very competitive. After I leave Assumption, my memories of the school will be of the many opportunities that I had for personal, educational and moral growth.

What Assumption School means to me is a great education. I meet new friends and keep the old friends. It's a lot of fun here at Assumption School. There are really great teachers like Mrs. Bedinghaus and Mr. Beavers.
I have learned some very important things here at Assumption School: to be kind to others like I'm kind to my friends. I help people up when they have fallen down and hurt their knee. I am a very good listener when the teachers are talking to me and my classmates. I'm very responsible in make sure that all of my things that are supposed to be at school are there.
I hope I will be remembered at Assumption School. I think I will because I'm getting good grades in all of my subjects. I'm very thoughtful to others and my teachers. I haven't missed a day of school since fourth grade started.
I am very involved in sports here at my school. My favorite sports are volleyball and softball. I also love to play soccer. Another favorite activity is Girl Scouts, where we have lots of fun.
I help out at Breakfast with Santa, where I am an elf. I also help out at the festival in the
P.T.O. booth. Assumption School is the best school ever. I hope I can send my kids here when I grow up.

Assumption will remember me in many ways. I have accomplished various things throughout the years I have attended Assumption. I support my school by playing sports. I hope to be remembered at Assumption.
In my earlier years at Assumption, I did a lot of things. I was a shepherd in the first-grade play. In second grade, I went to lunch with the principal. I was also in the talent show, dancing to "So Long, Farewell." I was in the talent show for the next two years, dancing to "Oh Mickey," "Best Years Of Our Lives" and "Red Alert." In the third grade, I won the hat contest during Right To Read Week. I also joined the basketball team, cheerleading squad, the volleyball team and the softball team. I still play all those sports.
I've accomplished a lot in the fourth and fifth grades as well as the younger grades. I became a member of beginning band. I am now in advanced band and I play the alto saxophone. I have gotten honor roll all through fourth grade and so far in the fifth grade. I also have two older brothers who have already graduated from Assumption.
As you can see, I'll be remembered at Assumption. Even though I will graduate, I will always be remembered as "The girl that was in the talent show" or "The girl that was in the band." I have learned through my experiences at Assumption. I will always have a place in my heart for Assumption, and I hope it makes room in its heart for me. I will always like my grade school, and I hope it will always remember me.

Assumption school is a really cool school. They have a lot of fun activities, like Olympic Day, spirit days and pep rallies. I think Assumption School will remember lots of the kids that go there for their own special reason. I can think of a bunch of reasons in my head right now, and I'm only in the fifth grade. Hopefully the eighth graders can think of a lot more reasons than me. Here are my ideas about how Assumption School might remember me.
Since I started here at Assumption, I have not yet received a conduct slip! In second grade, I won a library contest and got a GameBoy Pocket. I also won an autographed photo of Steve Cauthen (a jockey who won the Triple Crown). My grades have been good. I've received first and second honors. Last year was my first time in the talent show. I played a duet on the piano with my friend Will. This year, I am in the student choir. I also enjoy playing sports. I play basketball and baseball for Assumption. (I'm a great basketball player.) I am in Assumption's Cub Scouts. I am a pretty good writer and really like to draw. I like doing projects. I always enjoy working on my homework as soon as I get home.
That's what I hope Assumption will remember me by. I will remember Assumption for a lot of different reasons, like giving me a good education and making me laugh at the end of the year with the slide show. I hope they will remember me, because I will always remember them.

I hope they remember me for my sense of humor, for being nice, and for being good at sports. Maybe they'll remember me for helping people, doing my work, or being decently smart. My friends could remember the fun we had, that I was easy to talk to and good at keeping secrets. Maybe they will remember that I liked to read and had an active imagination, or that I was a fun, easy-going kid.

I think Sam will remember me from the second grade because I helped her get paper towels. I hope Nancy Reusch remembers me. I'm her neighbor and we give each other hugs and talk. I know Christina will remember me because we're best friends! We hang out and play together. Mollie maybe will remember me because I was the first to comfort her. All the sports teams I played for will remember me because I think I was really good. All the kids in the fifth grade will remember me for being a drama queen! Mrs. Mortimer will remember me for giving her more than one hundred hugs.
I like Assumption a lot. I'm 11 years old, and this is the best school I've had so far. I love all of the teachers.

People will remember me as the soccer person, the volleyball person, and the granddaughter of someone who jumped out of the window at Assumption! But the one thing I want to talk about is the talent show. I was in it for three years!
I didn't try out in the first grade, and I didn't make it in the fourth grade, but I was in it during the second, third and fifth grades. I have done "Grease," "Gravity" and "Kiss" (those are the ones I remember).
So, in 20 years, I think I will be remembered for the things I did well. I'll remember this school forever, and it will be fun. By the way, people will also probably remember me because of my long line of family members who went here to
Assumption.

Assumption will remember me with my long, curly hair that wouldn't stay straight for a comb or brush. Once I could get it down for school, it would go curly again.
Then one day, I brought hair-cutting equipment and a permission slip for Mr. Ries to cut my hair. He gave me a stool to sit on, and called Ms. Wills' class over. Almost everyone brought a camera and took pictures!
Mr. Ries tried a lot of styles, until he got my hair really short. I was scared throughout the whole thing.
On the bus ride home, a lot of kids that knew Mr. Ries said I was brave, and I would say, "Not really.''
The next year, I saw some pictures and just laughed.

As I'm writing this essay, I'm starting to look forward to graduating from Assumption next year. Then again, how will all my friends and teachers remember me as I begin a new chapter in my educational life? Well, by reminiscing about the last two years of my time at Assumption, and with the help of my peers, I made this question easy to answer.
When I leave the school after eighth grade, I only want people to remember me by how I left the school and not how I came in. I also want people to remember me by how I never gave up, and how I was ready for a challenge. Of course, I want all of my friends to remember how funny, smart, tall and amiable I was. Finally, as this essay closes to an end, I want everyone to remember how I brought my love and my friendship to everyone's lives.

PRESENT DAY 2003
Assumption was filled with memories from kindergarten to the 7th grade. I'll always remember the memories I had with all my friends, and I know they will remember me, too. I wonder what they'll remember.
2032 A.D.
One day I awoke realizing my robotron caught a virus while charging up that night. Geez, things aren't made the way they were when I was a kid.
I figured I'd just get a new battery from the attic. I opened the attic door and walked up the steep, narrow staircase, wiping away years of webs that blocked my way. As I reached the top, I looked around, noticing I hadn't been there in years. I noticed boxes stacked high, scattered about and forming an obstacle course for me. I shifted about, wiping cobwebs that grazed my shoulder. I noticed all the junk I had collected over the years, like all of my out-of-date DVDs, MP3s, and my ancient systems like PlayStation 3 and X-Box 3000, all packed together and stored away in cardboard boxes. I then stopped to look around and search for the extra batteries which were hidden somewhere in the large attic. I observed the labels on the boxes: kitchen, entertainment … "Robot accessories!" I said aloud.
I made my way toward the box, knocking over old junk as I created a path for myself. Then I noticed something that fell on the ground that seemed to catch me in a trance. I grabbed it and went downstairs, totally forgetting the extra battery on my way to the kitchen. I then ordered a milk from the Smart Fridge 3000, sat down and blew the dust that covered the entire book.
"Assumption 2002-2003," I murmured to myself as I read the cover. It was my old grade school yearbook! I opened the yearbook to the first page, seeing the staff I used to have as teachers. I scrolled my eyes down the page, looking at my grade school guardians I had when I was younger.
"Mark the janitor. I remember him. I remember he always made all of the students laugh! I wonder if he still remembers me," I thought. "Mr. Simcoe. He probably remembers me because I missed the bus four times in his class!" Then I wondered about my old class. What did they remember? I flipped my way through the pages until I got to the 7th grade. I remembered my whole class, like all of my friends at age 12 (Amy and David, especially), and all of my "not so friends," even though I didn't really have any enemies. Marcus and Cory, some of my best friends, will probably remember me because I'm fun to be around. Amy and David probably still remember me for my artistic talent and creativity, and Eric and Anthony from the 8th grade probably remember me because I have a good sense of humor.
BACK TO PRESENT DAY 2003
I don't know what other ways Assumption will remember me, but all that I know is that I will certainly be remembered by Amy, David, Marcus, Cory, Eric, Anthony and all of my other friends, like Corey, Will and Reed. I know I will remember them, too

Assumption School will remember me for many reasons. First of all, I play a lot of sports. I tried cheerleading for the first time this year and loved it! I also play basketball, volleyball and softball, and I've played those all my life. Basketball is my favorite sport and I love it! My dad has coached my brother and me all of our lives. Everyone knows me as
"The Coaches daughter,'' which I hope is a good title.
Another reason Assumption School will remember me is because of my positive attitude toward everything. When I have to do something that I might not necessarily want to do, you will still see a smile on my face! I'm always smiling or laughing about something, no matter what kind of mood I'm in. But I do know when it needs to stop.
I think Assumption School will remember me as being a good friend and always accepting everyone. I would never not talk to someone maybe just because they looked different or weren't as popular as most of the kids, because the way I see it, we're all the same. Some people can't help the way they look, so who am I to judge them based on that? I'm not, so I don't. I accept everyone and I always talk to the people that maybe don't "fit in" because of stuff that they can't help. I hope Assumption school will remember me as someone who cared for all.

Assumption School will remember me not for hitting the home run at the big game, not for being the tallest kid, but for being a true individual -- a unique person. I will be remembered for doing the jobs that I do and not expecting a "thank you'' for it. Most of my jobs go unnoticed by many, and that's fine. I will earn a place in Assumption School history for being a friend to all, for being a hard-working student, and for simply being Thomas. I got all of these qualities from my dad, who is proud when he hears the expression all of the time, "Oh, you're Thomas' dad!"

How will Assumption School remember me? Hmmm. How would Assumption School remember me? I think Assumption School will remember me because I was the kid who lost his dad to cancer back in October. I don't think anyone could ever forget a tragedy like that; I don't think I could forget. I think people will remember me by being the smallest person in the entire eighth grade. I think people will remember me because I am the one who makes everyone laugh when they are unhappy. And I think the teachers will remember me because I am the teachers' helper when they need help. That is how Assumption School will remember me.

Assumption School will remember me as a person who is willing to help people out. I work at the Assumption festival every year at my family's food booth. I also help with set up and clean up every day. Assumption School will remember me as always being happy, no matter what the day. I know I don't enjoy getting up to help with the festival in the morning, but since I have to do it, I might as well make the best of it. I love to joke around and have a good time.
Assumption School also will remember me for making the honor role every year since seventh grade. I work really hard in school. I like to challenge the teachers when they make statements, but they usually win. That's all right, though; it is fun to do..
Assumption School will remember me helping to set up bingo tables every other Tuesday, and when I help Mrs. Kay set up for gym every Tuesday and Thursday. I love to get involved with things, and that is what I do.
Assumption will remember me for playing on the baseball team since sixth grade. Although I am not the best, I have a good time. I go to every practice and every game, even though I know I won't play in the game. I cheer for my team and have a good time.
If anything at all, Assumption School will remember me as an outgoing person who likes to have a good time, and will do almost anything to help someone out.

There are many ways I believe that I will be remembered at Assumption School. Mostly, I will be remembered as a humorous person. I always had a joke to tell or a funny story to share. I liked making people laugh, which unfortunately got me in some trouble. But I am happy that I did make people laugh; it seemed to make them a little bit happier. I'm sure that when someone thinks about me in the future, they will surely remember my great sense of humor.
Another thing that I will be remembered for is my intelligence. I've never had a grade less than a B on all of my report cards throughout my years at Assumption. I was also accepted into St. Xavier, which was a big deal to me and to my friends. I'm sure everyone will remember the days I came to school dressed in my St. X clothes, proud of the school I will be attending.
Lastly, I will be remembered for my willingness to do whatever was asked of me. I worked in the supply closet for the first semester of the eighth grade. I was there every morning, and didn't miss a day. It's kind of neat to have all the younger students come up to me and know who I am. They really do look up to me. I guess they know me from reading at their Wednesday Masses, too. I think some of them will remember me because they saw me pretty much. I think the memories of me at Assumption School will be good ones. I feel that I made a pretty good impression of myself.
